Eco-Anxiety & Therapy

I am conducting research on people’s experience of having eco-anxiety and what they find helpful and unhelpful for this issue.

What to expect

  • Online Microsoft Teams interview lasting around 90 minutes

  • The interview will be audio recorded

  • We will ask you some questions focussed on hearing your experiences of eco-anxiety and therapy

  • Everything you share will be be treated confidentially and your identity will be anonymised

  • You will be free to only take part and answer questions if you want to

Who can take part?

  • Are you 18 years old or more?

  • Have you attended at least one individual therapy session, while also experiencing eco-anxiety? (It doesn't matter whether you went to therapy because of your eco-anxiety, or for a different reason)

  • Was this in the last 10 years?

  • Are you fluent in English?

Why take part?

Have a chance to share your experiences, and potentially help support therapists to better support those who have eco-anxiety.

Study Aims

Sharing your experiences can add to our understanding of what is helpful and unhelpful in therapy when people have eco-anxiety.

This could contribute to helping therapists work better with eco-anxiety.

This could help people receive better support for their eco-anxiety through therapy.
